The Malibu beach house where Judy Garland lived with her second husband, Vincente Minnelli, and their daughter, Liza Minnelli, has gone on the market for $3.895 million.

The Hollywood icon - known for starring in some of the biggest hits of the Golden Age like The Wizard of Oz, Meet Me in St Louis, The Harvey Girls, and Easter Parade - lived at the home after it was built in 1947 into the 1950s.

With  1,311 square feet, the beach house sits on Malibu’s Las Tunas Beach within a stretch of beach homes that have been the backdrop for a number of films.

Who was Judy Garland?

Judy Garland was one of the most famous actresses of Hollywood's Golden Age. She starred in huge-hit musicals, like the Wizard of Oz and For Me and My Gal with Gene Kelly. She married five times, and had three children, one of whom is the famous singer Liza Minnelli. Judy died in 1969 from an accidental overdose.
