NBA's Tracy McGrady lists his lavish Texas mega mansion for $8 million
The Sugar Land estate includes its own basketball court, spa, and barbershop

Former Rockets star Tracy McGrady is selling his 2-acre estate in Sugar Land – just southwest of Houston, Texas.
The McGrady estate includes a mansion brimming with amenities and a guesthouse, which together span over 24,000 square feet. Nestled amid a private golf community, the property includes a spa, barbershop, and an indoor basketball court, because this is Tracy McGrady's home, after all.
With its showcase of opulent interior design features and a host of amenities, the property is one of the most impressive currently on the market and amongst the world's best homes.
The luxe property is somewhat fitting for the seven-time all-star who purchased the suburban home during his career with the Houston Rockets. He was also selected for the United States men's national basketball team in the early noughties and inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame in 2017.
The retired player currently lives in the estate with his wife, Clerenda McGrady, who founded Project PUSH charity.
The foyer epitomizes elegant hallway ideas through its combination of Texan grandeur with European architectural assets, including French limestone floors and towering columns.
From here, the sweeping staircase leads to several of the nine bedrooms and ten bathrooms across both homes.
The living space maintains the estate's majesty through its sweeping arched windows and limewashed walls that give the room an escapist aesthetic.
The main family room also exhibits high ceilings with ornate painted woodwork and a chandelier for a further nod to luxury. Though, these high ceilings are only fitting in the home of the 6 foot '8 sportsman.
Meanwhile, the monochromatic marble countertops and wet bar act as a catalyst for our modern kitchen ideas.
Beyond these living spaces, the Megamansion lives up to its title with a host of amenities, including a movie theater, gym, and games room. The upstairs also features a further spiral staircase that leads to a large loft space.
The top floor boasts views across the gated golf course, and palm-tree kissed exterior that is reshaping our garden ideas. Highlights include the swimming pool and space for alfresco dining under the south Houston sun.
Clevell Harris of CA Modern Realty currently holds the listing for $8 Million.
