Jennifer Garner has had this one appliance in her kitchen for 'decades' – here's why it has stood the test of time
When an appliance impresses through the years, we take note – especially when the approval comes from a Hollywood great
It's not unheard of that some kitchen colors stand the test of time (designers often return to white, for example), but it is certainly less common to find an appliance that impresses through the years – with one exception. This is where Jennifer Garner comes into play.
I've had my KitchenAid Stand Mixer for decades. It's been by my side through it all – a few major recipe fails and many delicious, everyday successes,' the actress shared following a partnership with the cooking powerhouse. 'I'm thrilled to make my longtime friendship with KitchenAid official.'
A look at Jennifer's Instagram shows the stand mixer, just as she said, atop her white marble countertops, but it's not the only KitchenAid appliance we've spotted in her space.

As part of her collaboration with KitchenAid, Jennifer Garner expanded on her beloved Pretend Cooking Show to create everyday meals that impress. In this case, it was chocolate coconut caramel bars that put her appliances to the test. Among those were her mixing bowls and the KitchenAid 9-cup, which we also reviewed in our test kitchen.
Artisan® Series 5 Quart Tilt-Head Stand Mixer – $449.99 on KitchenAid
From the #1 Mixer Brand in the World, this stand mixer has the capacity for every kind of recipe and every kind of occasion. It has 10 speeds to gently knead, thoroughly mix, and whip ingredients and comes in 20 colors – but we spotted Almond Cream in Jennifer's kitchen.
'At KitchenAid, our goal is to make everyday meals stand out, and the Pretend Cooking Show perfectly embodies that spirit,' adds Carley Smith, KitchenAid's senior marketing manager.
'We’ve been watching the show since the beginning and love how it inspires makers of every level to break out of their ordinary routines and make the most of everyday meals. We are thrilled to work with a good friend and longtime brand fan like Jennifer Garner to keep bringing that to life and inspire more to come to the kitchen.'
Plus, Jennifer Garner is in good company. The stand mixer is similarly a favorite of Martha Stewart, and across the Atlantic, it even has royal admirers (yes, we really did spot this staple in Prince William and Princess Catherine's kitchen, too). We're shopping for some more of Jennifer Garner's kitchen essentials below.

It's impossible to know whether appliances are worth the long-term investment, but if Jennifer's stand mixer is anything to go by, we'd hazard a good guess that these pieces will also stand the test of time.
