Michelle Pfeiffer's underrated home accessory brings both elegance and ambiance to any room – unlock her 'subtle yet mesmerizing' trick for just $45
This oft-overlooked accessory makes a bold impact in the actress's home – it's easy and affordable to recreate her idea in any space

There's no question that fragrance can affect your mood, so the scents you choose for your home are of utmost importance. Though home scent has not historically been considered a part of interior design, recent shifts towards a more holistic view of the house has brought the impact of fragrance into the home's zeitgeist.
Many of the most stylish celebrities from Courteney Cox to Hilary Duff and Kris Jenner have launched lines of candles, fragrance diffusers, and room sprays over the last few years. Michelle Pfeiffer is the most recent to join their ranks. Pfeiffer's launch of two of the best candles with her fragrance line, Henry Rose, signifies an interesting turn in the scent world. Her line started with gender-neutral perfumes, but the move into home fragrance indicates how our homes have become an extension of ourselves. They are a site for personal branding, and a way to invite visitors into our private worlds.
In Pfeiffer's version of home fragrance, everything is clean and healthy. In a statement on her website, she says: 'When I became a mom, I started reading the labels on the products I used. I just couldn't imagine exposing my children to anything potentially toxic on my skin. Fragrance was the last black box of ingredient transparency. So I gave it up altogether... but eventually, I missed it. I realized that if I wanted a safer, beautiful quality perfume, I would need to create it myself. We have to worry about so many things in life, and fragrance shouldn't be one of them.' The same should be true in our homes.
If you want a more grounding, masculine fragrance, this gorgeous woody musk scent is perfect. Housed in the same beautiful black container, it's a design statement and a vibe shifter. Notes of fresh musk and soft woods that come together with light patchouli to create a smooth and soothing effect.

Pfeiffer's Henry Rose candles live up to this promise. The beautiful candles are created using a clean blend of soy, coconut, and vegetable waxes with a 100% cotton wick. They are hand-poured in California. In line with Pfeiffer's ethos, they not only make your home smell nice but are formulated with health in mind.
Though I haven't personally smelled the candles in Pfeiffer's home, the reviews tell an intriguing story. In fact, the Queens & Monsters fragrance has achieved all 5-star reviews. A client named 'Gina' calls the candles an 'Exquisite Piece Full of Luxury and Elegance.' She states: 'Hands down, a standout addition to my room décor! Its design screams elegance while also adding a touch of luxury. Undeniably, it is a great and worthy investment that not only elevates the aesthetics but also makes occasions more remarkable. Highly recommended!.' Angie G. calls it, 'subtle yet mesmerizing.'
If the role of a candle is to bring your personality and story to the forefront of your home, this seems like the right story. If it works for Michelle Pfeiffer, it's good enough for us. Alongside Pfeiffer's go-to's, we're enjoying these candles over this season.
This gorgeous floral candle fills the room with romantic notes of jasmine. It's the type of scent that transcends seasons and will smell just as beautiful long into the new year as it does now.
Like the warmth of a crackling winter fire, Balsam Fireplace lures you in with intoxicating scents of fresh evergreen woods, warm juniper spice, and salted amber.
This full and rich candle evokes the feeling of walking through a budding rose garden in the spring.
