I've been so excited for the Icon Mugs to drop at Anthropologie – and the Internet's latest obsession is finally here
Anthropologie's Icon Mugs have just launched, and I can't wait to get my hands on them and enjoy my warm drinks in style

Whether I'm checking out a new homeware store or just browsing my favorite brands online, searching for the best coffee mugs will always bring me joy – which is why I'm so delighted about the new Anthropologie Icon mugs.
I'm a huge fan of the viral Icon glasses, which our Style and Trends Editor, Charlotte Olby wrote about, but since they're only suitable for cold drinks, I've been patiently waiting for a heat-safe version to launch – and my wish has finally come true. Anthropologie's Icon glass mugs are now available in 7 different styles, and at just $16.99 each, I know they'll be snapped up fast by eager shoppers like me.
'If you have ever tried a hot drink in your original Icon glasses, you know the result – don't do it!' warns Hebe Hatton, our Head of Interiors. 'They are not heatproof and never claimed to be. But these new Iconic mugs are what we have been all been waiting for. The same cute designs in heat-proof mug form, perfect for going into fall.'
The mugs are crafted from hand-blown glass and then hand-pressed with the signature beaded glass icons. They're delicate, but durable enough for hot drinks – and I know they'll look right at home next to my icon juice glasses. (I've just treated myself to the confetti edition Icon glasses).
What I love about this collection is its versatility. The pumpkin design is perfect for my Halloween table decor (supplemented with Anthropologie's Halloween bistro tile collection), but you can mix and match to your heart's desire thanks to the array of icons on offer.
Among the mug options, you'll find some adorable fruit designs. I'm a fan of the cherries and the sunshine-hued lemon, which are perfect for colorful herbal teas. The collection is rounded off by an intricate bumblebee print, a more vibrant evil eye, and, finally, the pumpkin I mentioned earlier.
I'm using the summerween trend as an excuse to stock up on the pumpkin design ahead of fall (as I'm sure they'll sell out by then) – plus, it's perfect for my DIY pumpkin spice latte recipes until I can get my fix at my local coffee shop.

These stunning mugs would certainly make it onto my list of coffee bar essentials – I'll just need to invest in the best coffee maker first.
