Despite its construction in the 1960s, Avril's home recently underwent a renovation that left the property with a contemporary finish – without losing some of its original charms. 'Thank you, Tony Hawk,' she says. 'We all look up to you. I used to skateboard a lot when I was a teenager, and I've just recently picked the board back up. This was the highlight of my summer.'
