Anthropologie’s new selection of mirrors are simple yet statement pieces that will transform a space in an instant
From velvet options to chic bronze rims, Anthropologie’s spring mirror drop will add so much personality to your home
A good mirror is one of my absolute favorite ways to elevate a space, especially if you live in a home that doesn’t get much light. In my experience, a great mirror – no matter whether it’s a floor mirror or a wall mirror – can add dimension to a small space and help reflect light in darker homes. These days, so many brands are also creating mirrors that can double as statement pieces, akin to modern pieces of art, thanks to their whimsical shapes and the unique materials used.
This week, while I was looking for a fun mirror to add to my living room, I noticed that Anthropologie’s new spring collection of mirrors easily contained the most diverse options.
Taking inspiration from more quirky Gen Z interior decor trends and also classic rustic aesthetics, there's a style here to suit all. I’ve seen intricately handcrafted bronze rims, rustically cut burl wood, and even velvet fabrics this season, proving that Anthropologie isn’t afraid to incorporate current design trends into their collections. So you if are looking for ways to decorate with mirrors, Anthropologie's new in collection should be your first point of call.
Best Anthropologie mirrors for spring 2024
This spring, I say to nix the normal throw pillows and bright rug trends that you may be drawn to for your yearly decor makeover and consider a new mirror instead. I’ve perused the entire new Anthropologie mirror collection and picked the ones that resonate with me the most, but you can also view the entire drop on their website.
Taking a traditional French mirror and adding a modern touch, the Perla Mantel Mirror uses a bronze finish for a regal look.
With a combination of interlocking alabaster and antique brass keystones, this mirror uses mixed materials to bring on the drama. It gives both texture and shine to a classic wall mirror.
Cotton rope gets an unexpected makeover in this mirror, and the twisted border brings about a playful feel.
Velvet furniture will always be in, and now, it seems home accessories are following suit. I adore this Anthro option because it uses a subtle mauve color with curved edges, allowing for a versatile feel, despite the impression you might have of velvet being a loud material.
The gold leaf carving on this mirror makes me think of ancient Greek royalty, and honestly, why not bring a sense of revival to your home? The detailed design is all kinds of chic.
Burl wood is a fun, natural take on the traditional wood veneers we all love, and it really helps to bring the outdoors in.
Clean white dogwood petals adorn this round wall mirror, suggesting a more feminine feel. I’d love to place this option in a colorful powder room for an added pop.
The wavy mirror look is still a TikTok trend for a reason, and I personally adore the touch of whimsy it can bring to a modern living room. The jet-black border also pulls more attention to the frame.
My favorite part about incorporating a mirror in my living room (or any room for that matter) is there really are no rules about where you can place it: Have it above your sofa in lieu of an art piece, have a bunch of small mirrors on a blank wall for an added pop, or even place a wall mirror near your entryway for guests. Anthropologie's selection will make sure you'll find exactly what you're looking for.
