Pottery Barn's Holiday Sale is just beginning, and I'm already seeing deep discounts on cozy blankets, holiday decor, and festive tableware. Shop around and you'll find furniture, lighting, and bedding, all listed for less − I've bookmarked the page as I embark on my remodel.
For sheer breadth of choice, Pottery Barn is one of my favorite places to shop. There are no fewer than 6,988 items listed on the Pottery Barn Holiday sale page. With so much on sale, it's easy to feel spoiled for choice. That's why I've spent hours shopping the Pottery Barn sales to bring you a few of my favorite pieces listed for less this shopping season. This collection contains six drinking glasses for everyday, six wine glasses for toasting and hosting, six goblets for special occasions, and a pitcher. I love the look of the red ribbon, connecting each piece in the collection.
These stockings come in seven color combinations to complement any aesthetic. The red with ivory cuff is a classic for a reason, but you could invert the colors for a Scandi chic twist, or introduce green to match your wreaths and garlands.
The best jewelry boxes come with a combination of small, medium, and large storage units to house all manner of trinkets. The Quinn Jewelry Box features pull-out drawers for bracelets and necklaces, plus slots to store and display rings and earrings. The box is finished with brass-plated hardware, reminiscent of old-world elegance.
The best warm comforter should see you through cold nights and winter weather. The Cloud Quilt is an extra layer to keep cozy, woven from linen and cotton to create touchable texture. Pictured in Chambray blue for understated elegance, you could shop the Cloud Quilt in classic white, eucalyptus green, or rich camel.
This chunky knit would look just as good spread over the edge of your bed as it does draped over the arm of a chair or sofa. Cuddle up for holiday movie nights or treat your overnight guests to an extra layer of warmth this hosting season. I like it best in oatmeal, but you could also shop the Diamond Cable Knit Throw in camel.
This is the sort of purchase that will see you through a whole year of hosting. This embroidered table runner is listed for half price in the Pottery Barn Black Friday deals and it's invaluable for anyone who likes to entertain. Made from cotton and linen, it's machine-washable for quick and convenient clean-up after meals.
Shop Pottery Barn newness
Treat yourself to something new for the holidays from Pottery Barn. I've sorted through more than 2,000 items in the New Arrivals section to bring you three super-cute impulse buys to spruce up your home this holiday season.
These Santa Claus mugs hit the sweet spot between kitschy and cute. Take a closer look, and you'll notice that each Santa face is subtly different. Pass them round to your friends and family this hosting season and see how long it takes them to notice.
Suitable for indoor and outdoor use (in covered areas), one or two of these Lit Twinkling Twig Trees could create a winter wonderland. Mix and match between brown pine and white birch for a sense of realism, or add a burst of berry brightness to illuminate your entryways.
With this sort of scent collection, containing votive candles, diffusers, and potpourri, you can carry the smell of Christmas through every room in your house. This is a sweet, spicy sort of smell, not cloying, with notes of Ceylon cinnamon, Valencia orange, bourbon vanilla, and clove.
When does Pottery Barn have sales?
Pottery Barn runs regular sales throughout the year, which you can stop in-store and online. Just after New Year's, there's the White Sale on bed and bath essentials. President's Day falls in February, and you'll find deep discounts on bigger ticket items, such as furniture and rugs. In quick succession, you have Memorial Day, Independence Day, and Labor Day sales with site-wide discounts.
Pottery Barn's biggest sale of the year falls on Black Friday and runs until Cyber Monday. That's when you'll find the lowest prices on the widest range of products, including furniture, decor, and holiday gifts.
Outside of the seasonal sales, we have the Pottery Barn Friends and Family Sale, which tends to occur a few times a year. The best way to stay on top of the sales is to sign up for the Pottery Barn email list. There are the end-of-season warehouse sales, when Pottery Barn cuts prices to shift old stock and make room for new products. Most months, Pottery Barn holds a sale on a particular category. One month, it might be lighting, the next tableware, and so on: you can expect to save around 20% in these flash sales.
One way to make the holiday sales work for you is to shop the Pottery Barn Post-Holiday Mega Sales. Over the days immediately following a major holiday, such as Easter, Christmas, or Halloween, Pottery Barn heavily discounts holiday decor. You can get ahead and stock up on your decor for next year.
