Wayfair Christmas decorations are surprisingly good – and on sale
There are some hidden gems amongst the Wayfair Christmas decorations – and some are on sale
Way Day is here, and that means huge discounts on a wide range of home decor. I've spied 65% off living room furniture, a massive 80% discount on area rugs, and 70% off mattresses.
However, an unsung part of the sale is that there's more than 50% off seasonal decor, right in time for the holidays. It might feel a little early to start decorating for Christmas, but it's a great way to save on wreaths, trees, and Christmas lighting before the prices increase in the run-up to the big day.
I've trawled through literally thousands of pieces to find the most elegant pieces at the best prices. Not all of the Wayfair Christmas decorations are worthwhile, but I think these are some of the best choices of what's on offer during Way Day.
Way Day Christmas decor
Full disclosure - not everything on Wayfair is in the best taste. There's a lot of tacky options made of plastic that won't work for more elevated homes. However, after sifting through thousands of deals, I've spotted some picks that are worth your time and your money.
Was $89.99, now $59.99 at Wayfair
Not every wreath at Wayfair is great, but I like the gold and silver accents on this faux pine wreath. It's perfect for a front door to welcome guests for Christmas dinner.
Was $37.99. now $34.99 at Wayfair
This bunch of faux frosted pine branches and berries can be used in several ways. It looks good in a flowerpot as above for porch decoration, but you can also use it as part of a tablescape or on a mantel.
Was $59.99, now $53.99 at Wayfair
This is still a little expensive, but traditionalists will love this darling little snowglobe. It will look at its best nestled in among warm candles on a bookshelf, or as part of a window display.
Was $41.99, now $35.99 at Wayfair
More minimalist homes will love this simple cast-iron standing reindeer figurine. It's a simple touch that can bring festive vibes without overloading your home in greens and reds.
Was $32.99, now $20.99 at Wayfair
I'd rarely recommend a flameless candle, because they can often look cheap. However, I think this flickering pillar candle is more like a lamp, and perfect for cozy lighting at Christmas. It runs on a timer too, so you don't have to remember to hit the switch.
Was $45.99, now $36.99 at Wayfair
Curtain lights like this are a must for any porch decoration. You can make gentle, sophisticated lighting without going totally overboard, and they work well indoors, too.
Way Day Christmas trees
The furniture deals will get all of the fanfare, but my top tip this Way Day is to grab a discount on an artificial Christmas tree. The prices are about to skyrocket in the run-up to Christmas, so it's smart to grab some of this stock before it sells out. These are my picks of the best and least tacky options, and there are deals here that could save you hundreds of dollars.
Was $230.89, now $111.99 at Wayfair
This is one of the best deals I've seen so far. This tree was already pretty cheap, but now it's barely more than $100, and has bonus features too, with flocked snow and warm, built-in lights.
Was $605.99, now $306 at Wayfair
There's a huge 50% off this light-up faux Christmas tree. Already lit with warm and multicolored LEDs, it will save you buying extra Christmas lights. Standing at 7" tall, the branches are molded from real firs, so the tree looks realistic.
Was $160.99, now $76.99 at Wayfair
This sweet little tree is great for small spaces like apartments, or for decorating kids' rooms. Loaded with warm lights, it would even be cute by a dog bed. I usually won't recommend a tree like this at the original price, but more than half off is actually worth considering.
Was $159, now $109.99 at Wayfair
This was already a great price, but there's $50 off in Way Day sales. This towering 7.5" tree is ready-frosted and has hundreds of positive reviews. It will look at its best decorated with warm lights and gold Christmas tree ornaments.
Was $ 368.99, now $202.99 at Wayfair
This spruce is much more realistic than other artificial Christmas tress on the market. The slightly sparse foliage looks much more realistic than most other trees, and it has thousands of positive reviews online.
Was $64.99, now $35.99 at Wayfair
Full disclose - this is only 2" tall. However, if you're looking for a finishing touch on your matel or for your Christmas table, this could be just the thing, especially since it's nearly half off.
FAQs
What is Way Day?
Way Day is a two day sales event on Wayfair, running from October 25th to 26th. There's huge discounts on everything from mattress to wall art to seasonal decor, and there's up to 80% off.
Is Way Day better than Black Friday?
Way Day is only on a single site, so there aren't any ways to compare prices across multiple retailers and be sure you're getting a good deal. However, it's a really great opportunity to buy furniture, because furniture isn't always discounted on Black Friday.
Final thoughts
But while these are great pieces, Wayfair is far from the only place offering Christmas decor. I found some surprisingly good Christmas decor on Amazon over Prime Day, and that's to say nothing of the more obvious retailers. We've scoured hundreds of pieces from the early collections at IKEA, Anthropologie, and West Elm and found some real hidden gems.
