Much like her songwriting, which never lost touch with her Tennessee roots (despite the scale of her fame), Dolly Parton's home feels closely tied to the woman behind the public persona. The 3,324-square-foot residence is spread across two stories, with a traditional floor plan rather than the open-concept arrangement so common today.

A yellow entryway anchors the ground floor, opening onto a country kitchen, formal sitting rooms, a sunroom and, as one might expect, a dedicated music room. There are reportedly small reading nooks hidden beneath the staircases, while timber trim runs throughout, giving the interiors a sense of familiarity.
