Gwyneth Paltrow says this smart appliance is a 'treat to use' in the kitchen – and it taps into this streamlined trend
Kitchen enthusiast Gwyneth Paltrow makes the case for smart appliances after showing off her futuristic (and stylish) Monogram oven

Kitchen technology has come a long way, and one person who is a big proponent of innovative appliances is none other than Gwyneth Paltrow. Experimental with all things lifestyle at her wellness brand goop, Paltrow has extended her adventurous nature to the culinary space, as an ambassador for Monogram appliances.
Recently, she showed off her smart oven, and we were drawn not only to its sleek appearance but its unique features. In our opinion, it's a smart home must-have.
'When the weather warms up, I’m drawn to simple, refreshing dishes like this striped bass with gremolata,' she states in the caption. 'My Monogram appliances hearth oven elevates the entire experience – it’s a treat to use every time.'

The hearth oven connects to Wi-Fi, allowing users to control settings from a smart device, and also possesses LCD controls with simple presets. We can see in the video that Paltrow takes advantage of these features as she selects the white fish option from a touch screen for her striped bass – an effortless element to the sleek appliance.
'Smart appliances are an excellent choice for those who want to create a modern yet highly functional space,' says Homes & Gardens' editor Jennifer Ebert. 'Ovens like Gwyneth Paltrow's are elevated not only in their capabilities but their glossy and refined appearances.'
Labeling the smart-home movement a 'design trend' may seem like an unfair label, considering the desire (and, sometimes need) for these appliances is not fleeing. However, there is no denying that investing in smart-home features is among the most fashionable things we can do for our property – and the kitchen is naturally the best place to start.

'The focal point of our household is always the kitchen,' Paltrow said in a 2023 statement. 'It’s where I cook weekend brunches for our extended, modern family and where we catch up with our kids after a long day. With Monogram, we found a kitchen that’s both a workhorse and beautiful. It fits seamlessly into the aesthetic of our home.''
Additional features on the Monogram Hearth oven include compatibility with Amazon Alexa and Google Home, an integrated ventilation system, and electric heating zones that provide wood- and coal-oven burning results.
For those looking for an appliance that provides traditional features in a futuristic model, Paltrow's oven could be a great option.
