After years of waiting, these charming houses have got some seriously spooky curb appeal

There is no sweeter way to store spices than the Lenox spice village. It has become a cult classic for a reason, with fans often begging the brand to release more designs to grow their countertop community.

This year, they're in luck: Lenox has just released a six-piece Halloween-themed set of Village Houses, and they are pleasantly eerie.

As a self-proclaimed Halloween fanatic, I'm completely smitten. They are easily one of the chicest ways to add subtle Halloween decor to your kitchen without creating clutter. But I'd move quickly; I can't see them staying in stock for long.

As with any Lenox spice jars, the new six-piece Halloween set comes pre-printed with spice names to make organizing spices simple. Fittingly for the seasonal set, these spooky homes come prepared for poppy seeds, sesame seeds, anise stars, mulling spice, cardamom, and fennel, perfect for late-season baking and fall-winter simmer pot recipes.

Each pot is made from the signature premium Lenox porcelain, with rubber lid gaskets to keep your spices fresher for longer. Just like the original village set, each piece is hand-finished, too, with hand-painted details and delicate designs inspired by each spice. You'll find black cats, bats, and ravens silhouetted in the windows of these haunted Victorian homes.

While some have lamented the pastel roofs, in keeping with the rest of the village, the signature touch helps the set blend into the rest of the collection, so they can be left on display year-round without screaming out-of-season. They are a subtle way to pair chic and fun Halloween decor so as not to overwhelm your counters.

Shoppers have already started to receive their sets ahead of the season, and it is safe to say they are all as enamored as I am. 'It’s cute, guys! I’m obsessed with the poppy seed,' shared one shopper in their five-star review. 'Very happy with this set and would absolutely love to see more Halloween spice village crossovers!'

'Tiny treasures that are the cutest addition to your kitchen decor or a gorgeous hostess gift for your friend who loves Halloween,' adds another. 'These are out in time for Summerween, and I grabbed right away. Same size as the rest but with cute Halloween spooky details that look festive but not overwhelming. I display mine empty; who cares, right? They sit on the shelf like a perfect little New England village ready for Halloween.'

The six-piece set is $75 and is available right now on Lenox’s website.
