Dyson V15 Detect | was $849.99, now $649.99 at Dyson (save $200)
If you've read our Dyson V15 Detect review, you'll know it's one of our favorite vacuums we've ever tested. This incredibly powerful cordless vacuum can pick up pretty much any type of debris, regardless of the floor type.
The V15 senses how much dust it's picking up and can increase the suction power when necessary. It features a green laser that illuminates dust that the naked eye can't see, and you get two floorheads for specialized cleaning across different surfaces.
Dyson V11 Extra | was $659.99, now $449.99 at Dyson (save $200)
In my Dyson V11 review, I revealed why this cordless Dyson is one of the best available. It boasts incredibly high suction that doesn't struggle at all on carpets or hard floors, plus it's a savior when vacuuming pet hair from any surface. If you're not fussed about Dyson's smart features (and their higher prices), this is the most powerful non-Detect model.
Dyson V8 | was $539.99, now $399.99 at Walmart (save $140)
We've reviewed the Dyson V8, one of Dyson's more affordable models, and were surprised by its strong performance even five years after its release. It's our pick for the best budget Dyson regardless, but with this $170 discount, it's even more affordable.
The V8 has a 40-minute runtime and powerful suction, even without Dyson's latest detection technology. The Dyson V8 comes with all the attachments too, like the crevice, combination, and brush tools.
Dyson 360 Vis Nav | was $999.99, now $699.99 at Dyson (save $300)
With 22,000Pa suction, Dyson's flagship robot vacuum boasts some of the strongest performance on the market. Take the load off your weekly chores and let Dyson's flashy robot do it for you.

Supersonic | was $449.99, now $329.99 at Dyson (save $120)
The Dyson Supersonic is one of the most sophisticated hair dryers on the market, with intelligent heat technology and a variety of attachments for styling including the new Flyaway attachment.
Dyson Cool Tower Fan AM07 | was $399.99, now $249.99 at Dyson (save $150)
Dyson's tower fans are as much a visual statement as they are effective cooling machines, providing strong airflow that can fill large rooms.
Dyson Purifier Cool Formaldehyde TP09 | was $749.99, now $484.99 at Amazon (save $219.10)
A beautiful mix of nickel and gold, this sleek air purifier doubles up as a quiet, bladeless fan for whole-room cooling. In my Dyson TP09 review, I loved its effective purification, strong airflow, and comprehensive air quality monitoring. It cools down a room impressively fast.
Dyson Airwrap (Restored) | was $499.99, now $379.99 at Walmart (save $120)
To really save money on a Dyson deal, consider shopping for refurbished goods such as this Restored Dyson Airwrap at Walmart. It does all the same things as a brand-new one, instead using recycled materials and refurbished parts to give new life to old electronics.
Dyson Gen5outsize | was $1,149.99, now $949.99 at Dyson (save $200)
The Gen5outsize is the larger version of the best-in-class Dyson Gen5detect, with a 0.5-gal dustbin (compared to the Gen5detect's 0.2-gal), and an extra battery granting you up to 140 minutes of uninterrupted cleaning. Ideal for larger homes.
Our favorite Dyson products
Whenever sale season rolls around, these are the Dyson products I keep an eye on. They’ve performed exceptionally well in our tests and offer some of the most practical features on the market. Given their premium price tags, I always suggest holding out for a deal, and fortunately, they go on offer regularly.

This is the best vacuum cleaner we've ever tested at Homes & Gardens, and its usual hefty price certainly reflects that. The Gen5detect works exceptionally well on every floor type with an impressive 262 air watts. It even rivals the power of large, corded upright vacuums.
Our reviewer has tested over 100 vacuums, and the Dyson Gen5detect outperforms them all, thanks to its top-notch (and responsive) suction power, an impressive 70-minute runtime, and a green laser that reveals invisible dust.
It also includes a wide range of attachments for cleaning carpets, hard floors, upholstery, and tasks above your head, as well as making light work of pet hair, even digging it out from deep within the carpet fibers.

The Dyson V15 Detect was once our best-on-test vacuum cleaner until the Gen5detect came along. That being said, as it's around $300 cheaper, this is the vacuum I recommend to people as the best money can buy (as I just can't justify recommending a $1,000 vacuum).
The V15 Detect is part of the same range as the Gen5detect and V12 Detect Slim, and they all share the same core features: the green laser to illuminate hidden dust, the Piezo dust sensor, and automatic, responsive suction. The only real difference is slight variations in suction power and battery life.
The V15 Detect excels on all floor types, and effortlessly vacuumed every visible strand of hair on test while even reviving a dog bed to its original color.

The smaller, lighter version of the best-on-test Gen5detect and V15 Detect, the V12 Detect Slim, is perfect if you're looking to save money but still want this market-leading vacuum tech. Or, if your home is smaller or made of mostly hard floors, this should really be all you need.
This is the vacuum cleaner I use in my own home. Sure, it isn't quite as powerful as the other Dyson Detect vacuums, but it's still incredibly capable across all floors and all debris types (including hair), and it's more powerful than every other I've tested.
With the same core features as the Gen5detect and V15 Detect, just in a smaller design, the V12 Detect Slim just needs to be emptied more often. If you're happy to make that sacrifice, then you can save yourself a bit of money.

The Ball Animal 3 is Dyson’s most powerful upright vacuum to date – a true workhorse built for homes that demand deep, thorough cleaning. In our tests, it handled everything we threw at it with ease, proving ideal for households that need that extra muscle.
Yes, it’s larger and heavier than a cordless stick, but that’s exactly what makes it so effective on carpeted floors. With its wide floorhead and impressive suction, the Ball Animal 3 is a perfect fit for busy homes with pets, children, or both.

If you’re after powerful suction without the premium price tag, the Dyson V8 is a standout choice. It’s rare to see a Dyson vacuum under $400, but the V8 regularly hits that mark – and often dips lower during sales.
While it doesn’t include the advanced smart features found in Dyson’s higher-end models, it delivers where it counts: strong suction, lightweight cordless convenience, and solid performance across both carpets and hard floors. A great all-rounder for everyday cleaning on a budget.

This air purifier purifies the air, manages humidity levels, and detects and destroys formaldehyde, a toxic substance found in home goods and household products.
The open, curved design of the purifier helps to maximize airflow, pulling in air from all corners of the room to ensure every airborne particle is captured. And when you don't want to feel the breeze, you can reverse the airflow so that it disperses behind the machine,
It's a pricey way to achieve perfect air quality at home, so I'd only really recommend it with a discount.

Dyson deal tips and tricks
Having covered every major sales event since 2021, I’ve learned exactly how to spot a genuine deal – and how to avoid getting swept up in flashy markdowns that aren’t what they seem. Retailers often ramp up prices in the weeks before major events like Black Friday (late November) or Prime Day (July and October), only to drop them again to make discounts look steeper than they really are.
That’s why I always check price history before I buy, especially when shopping for premium items like Dyson vacuums. Two free tools I rely on are Honey and CamelCamelCamel.
Honey is a browser extension that shows price comparisons across multiple retailers – and it works even without installing the app. It also tracks pricing over the past 120 days, so you can quickly tell whether a deal is genuinely worth it or simply dressed up for the occasion. CamelCamelCamel works exclusively for Amazon, offering a full price history for any item. This is especially helpful for Dyson products, letting you know whether the price you're seeing is the lowest ever, or just temporarily marked down.
Top tip: Dyson often releases multiple versions of the same model (like the V15 Detect Absolute vs. the V15 Detect Plus). These often come with different attachments, so before you commit, double-check you're getting the version that best suits your home, and that you’re paying the best price for it.
The smartest Black Friday strategy? Do your research early. Know what model you want, what attachments you need, and what price it usually sells for. That way, when the big sale days hit, you can buy with confidence and without regret.
What is a good price for a Dyson?
It's hard to say what a 'good' price is for a Dyson, as their vacuums range from $300 to $1,000. First, you need to figure out what model (or models) you're on the lookout for using the handy guide above, then comes the part of knowing if you've found a good price.
The best discounts I've ever seen on Dyson's bests were during Black Friday 2024, with $300 off both the V12 Detect Slim and V15 Detect. These are the lowest prices they've ever been, so if you can find something similar when you're shopping for deals, then you know you've found a gem.
But generally, anywhere from $150 to $250 is a decent reduction, and you should consider buying if your vacuum of choice is discounted by that much.
If you're seeing a deal of just $100 off, this will usually be a common price. Often, retailers will include a mention of small discounts like $100 to appear like a saving, but really, that price will be available for most of the year. Use the tools Honey and CamelCamelCamel that I mentioned above to know whether yours is a genuine discount.
When's a good time to get a Dyson deal?
As somebody who writes almost exclusively about vacuums, I can confirm that Dyson vacuums are discounted quite often. Whether it's a Black Friday, Cyber Monday, Amazon Prime Day, Spring or Labor Day sales, I'm regularly seeing some of Dyson's top best models on offer, sometimes at some of their best prices yet. For this reason, I'd never recommend buying a Dyson at full price.
A benefit of having countless online stores is that they're often competing with each other for the lowest prices, and if you know how to look, you can find a good Dyson deal outside of the big sales. That being said, there's no denying what the major sale seasons can bring, especially in terms of choice.
The next opportunity to save big is Amazon's second Prime Day of 2025, on October 7 and 8.
Amazon Prime Day Dyson deals
The next Amazon Prime Day, named Prime Big Deal Days, will run on October 7-8 2025.
Amazon's most recent Prime Day wrapped up on July 11, and as we see every year, it's a hugely reliable time to find a discounted Dyson product, whether you're looking for vacuums, purifiers, or hair goods. Amazon has such a wide range of products that you'll typically find one of Dyson's best on offer, and usually with a sizable discount.
If looking during Prime Day, however, make sure to check elsewhere. Other retailers like Walmart and Target will launch competing sales, as well as Dyson themselves.
Black Friday and Cyber Monday Dyson deals
Black Friday falls on November 28 this year, with Cyber Monday following on December 1 – marking the most anticipated shopping window of the year. Traditionally a single-day event, Black Friday has since evolved into a multi-week affair. In fact, Dyson and other major brands have already begun teasing early deals weeks ahead of schedule.
If you're considering investing in a new appliance, now is the time to plan. As someone who’s tracked sales events and deal trends for over three years, I’ve learned that while Black Friday and Cyber Monday tend to offer the widest range of discounts, they don’t always deliver the deepest price cuts. Some of the best Dyson deals I’ve seen have actually appeared during Prime Day, Labor Day, or as surprise markdowns in quieter months.
That said, the September-to-December window is consistently strong for shoppers. It’s during this time that retailers start clearing out inventory to make way for upcoming product launches – often resulting in excellent savings on best-selling appliances, vacuums, and more.
So, whether you're eyeing a top-of-the-line Dyson or a seasonal upgrade to your cleaning routine, keep a close watch – these weeks can offer remarkable value.
Signing up to brand newsletters, bookmarking this page, and compiling a wishlist on Amazon and other big retailers will help you easily keep an eye out for the latest deals.
Boxing Day and New Year's Day Dyson deals
Don’t overlook the post-holiday sales – January can be one of the best times to score a deal on a Dyson. Just as brands and retailers begin to clear out stock in the lead-up to the holidays, the same inventory reset happens after Christmas.
That means New Year’s sales, winter clearance events, and post-holiday promotions often bring generous discounts on high-ticket appliances.
Whether it’s directly from Dyson or a trusted retailer, this quieter shopping period can be a golden opportunity to find a top-rated vacuum or fan at a significantly reduced price.
Dyson Spring sales
You can expect to see sales across major retailers as the weather starts to get warmer. The big push for spring cleaning is a great chance for brands to sell off their cleaning appliances, so keep a lookout for any discounts around this time.
Memorial Day Dyson deals
Each year, Memorial Day ushers in some of the biggest appliance discounts of the season – and Dyson is no exception. Falling on May 26 in 2026, the holiday is set to bring serious savings, both from major retailers and Dyson itself.
Based on previous years, there’s a strong chance we’ll see a site-wide sale from the brand, making it an ideal time to invest in one of their top-performing vacuums or fans at a lower price.
Labor Day Dyson deals
Labor Day sales wrapped up a week after the big day on Monday, September 1, 2025, but next year I'm expecting to see similarly exciting discounts from all the major retailers. The sales usually start a week or two before Labor Day, and last for the week after.
