Descriptors like 'warm' and 'cozy' don't necessarily bring to mind images of all-white-spaces, but they're the best terms we can think of to describe Alex Cooper's home.

The Call Her Daddy podcast host's living room is an inviting masterpiece. Designed by LA-based boutique interior design firm Balton Design, Cooper's space uses texture, organic shapes, and warm wood touches to take an all-white color scheme to the next level. From the plush carpet to the dreamy sofa, the room exudes elevated comfort.

Soft furnishings are a huge reason for the success of Cooper's living room color idea. Jennifer Ebert, color expert and digital editor at Homes & Gardens states: 'Texture is so essential in a space with an all-white color scheme, and Alex's space brings it in troves. The textiles throughout her space are especially effective in creating the contrast that arises from a variety of materials coming together in one space.'

She continues on the white living room, 'Cooper's creamy carpet brings a braided, slightly rougher feel while the smooth, white sofas add a finer texture. Various decorative pillows and the cream throw blanket keep the space looking lived in. It's all about the details, and the cream curtains make sure that texture isn't neglected, even against the smooth white walls. These textures add a certain richness and sumptuous quality that makes the room feel simultaneously opulent and cozy.'

Organic lines are also a significant contender for why Cooper's space looks so chic. Ebert says: 'The curved coffee table, white round stools, and little wooden footstool are working wonders in this space. In contrast to the hard lines of the structured sofas and panelled windows, these curves give the room a more relaxed, organic feel. When put next to one another, these contrasting lines create visual interest that draws the eye in. They also give the room a uniquely luxurious energy that only be created through this kind of contrast.'

To recreate the warmth and luxury of Alex Cooper's living room, the combination of a white sofa, oval coffee table and a faux plant for some texture can form the perfect base to get started. Extra points for adding decorative pillows and a throw blanket.

White doesn't need to look stark or minimal. With the right combination of textures, lines, and unique shapes, it can be one of the coziest, most beautiful schemes possible. Just look at Alex Cooper's space.
