Every once in a while, a partnership comes around that is so suitable it leaves us wondering, ‘What took them so long?’ This is the case with the new collaboration between coffee brand Moccamaster and the appliance powerhouse KitchenAid, who have revealed a new brewer that pays homage to the most fashionable kitchen trends of the moment.
KitchenAid, who is synonymous with the best stand mixers in the industry, has already made headlines following its announcement of its 2022 Color of the Year: Beetroot. However, their partnership with the Portland-based coffee label celebrates this color further.
‘Much like the hidden vibrance of Beetroot, Moccamaster coffee brewers transform something that seems ordinary into an unexpected and delightful experience,’ says Kathleen Bauer, the CEO of Moccamaster USA.
Kathleen adds that KitchenAid’s partnership with Moccamaster is perhaps only natural for a brand that carries an equal ‘enduring legacy and a reputation of quality – both create new possibilities of exploration and experimentation in the kitchen,’ she says.
But why do you need a Beetroot-hued coffee maker? We hear you ask. Despite being at the pinnacle of color trends this season, this tone is versatile enough to work alongside kitchen ideas of all tones. Whether you’ve opted for a neutral space or you’re following the (enduring) green kitchen interior design trend – Beetroot will look good on your worktop.
‘Beetroot inspires new twists on the familiar,’ adds Carley Smith, senior marketing manager for KitchenAid.
‘Staying true to the color’s inspiration, we introduced the first KitchenAid Color of the Year partnership with the iconic Moccamaster brand. As brands, we share the same values of form, function, and the power of color to inspire makers in the kitchen and beyond,’ she adds.
This rich magenta is described as an ‘energizing and uplifting hue,’ which is all we can ask for in a coffee appliance.
This partnership will elevate your morning routine into a morning ritual – and we’re already wondering, where has it been for our entire lives?
The Moccamaster KBGV Select in Beetroot, the 2022 KitchenAid Color of the Year, will be available online later this Spring exclusively at crateandbarrel.com (opens in new tab) and moccamaster.com (opens in new tab). More information is available via their websites.
