‘I’m really proud of this collection,’ says Justina. ‘My team and I worked hard to design pieces that we thought would bring you comfort and joy, and spice up your home a bit for the season! All the fabrics have great hand-feels, and I drew and painted all of the patterns by hand.’
This collection, therefore, brings patterns to the forefront, with tropical inspirations at its core, such as leafy looks, ruffled edges, pom poms, and animal prints. Everything is designed to be paired together with similar colors meshing cohesively (most notably yellows, oranges, reds, and greens). Some standouts from the collection include a floral print accent chair, a hinged boho chic divider for the outdoors, and textured throws for chilly nights. The result is a series of inviting products that will lend a sense of joy to any home. To help inspire your own summer makeover, here are my favorites from the new collection.
This whimsical bath rug is designed in a butterfly shape to bring nature-inspired vibes to your bathroom. The white and gray textured body is highlighted with a bright yellow trim, and the 100 percent cotton construction makes it low-maintenance, too.
This armless accent chair makes a major statement, featuring a bold allover white and teal floral print upholstery, complete with orange accents for even more bright color and joyful vibes.
What this simple pouf lacks in color, it more than makes up for in texture: The polyester fabric and round stacks of cushions on top of one another add a unique take to this furniture piece.
Bring boho chic vibes all around with this fun patio screen. Featuring a hinged design so you can choose your preferred angle and arrangement, it allows you to easily divide spaces in your outdoor entertaining area without blocking the view.
This midweight woven shag throw blanket has a cute combination of diamond motifs and tassels for an over-the-top, yet comforting look. It’ll look equally great on an all-white sofa as it would on a patterned bedspread.
Speaking of patterned bedspreads, if you’re looking for one this summer, I highly suggest this gold quilt by Justina. It’s lightweight enough for the warmer months, and the textured butterfly print is stunning.
The unique cylindrical shape of this bolster pillow adds an extra dose of support, while the bright red patterns and pom-pom accents bring a sense of fun to your space.
This decorative table lamp features a unique ceramic base and a tapered drum shade made out of rope for a natural look, proving that beige can go maximalist, too.
Justina Blakeney loves to play with print and color in nuanced ways, and her new collaboration with Target is absolutely no exception. Each product, whether it’s a rug, lamp, blanket, or even piece of furniture, allows for Justina’s love of pattern to shine through. If you need to add some personality to your space, look no further: After all, these bright and colorful pieces are perfect for the summer months.
