I've just finished testing the Dyson V11 (with the full review coming soon), and it turned out to be more powerful than the V12 Detect Slim – and cheaper. It has higher suction power than the V12, but it doesn't have the smart features, including the green, dust-revealing laser. If you can go without those luxuries, this is a fantastic choice, especially with QVC's $150 limited-time discount.
Also on offer is one of the best Shark vacuums, the Cordless PowerDetect that boasts incredible multi-surface cleaning from carpets to hard floors. On test, it banished cat hair and cleaned all manner of dust and dirt swiftly.

It's by no means as powerful as a Dyson, and when I compared this budget vacuum against a $750 Dyson its suction didn't come close.
