The Dyson V11 is one of the most powerful vacuums I've ever tested, and with this rare $180 discount, it won't cost the earth
I use the V11 myself and couldn't be more impressed

Everybody wants a Dyson. They're popular for a reason, and as somebody who tests vacuum cleaners professionally, I can confirm that you can't beat that level of cleaning power.
Right now, the Dyson V11 is discounted to just $449.99. That's a hearty $180 discount on one of the most powerful cordless sticks on the market – when I tested it at a local pet shelter, it banished fur and mess like it was nothing.
I only reviewed the Dyson V11 this month, and already it's one of the best Dyson vacuums that I've ever tested. If I didn't already own it, I'd be acting fast on this deal.
Why I love the Dyson V11
Dyson V11 Extra | was $629.99, now $449.99 at Dyson (save $180)
The 'Extra' model of the Dyson V11 comes with every cleaning attachment there is, including those for specialized tasks such as the stubborn dust brush, hair screw tool for pet hair cleaning, and a dedicated mattress tool.

The Dyson V11 is one of the best cordless vacuums on the market, with 185 air watts of suction power that surpasses what you'll find in almost every other cordless vacuum.
This translates to easy cleaning across all surfaces, from thick carpets to hard floors. That's the beauty of a top-tier Dyson: They clean as well as heavy, corded vacuums but with the freedom and convenience of a lightweight stick.
When tested at a cat and dog shelter that's ridden with animal hair, I found that the V11 cleaned more effectively than many of the best upright vacuums. It never wraps with hair, pulls fur out of thick rugs and upholstery, and empties in seconds. It's easily one of the best vacuums for pet hair.
And because Dyson has been in the floor cleaning game for so long, these vacuums are designed to be as nimble and intuitive as possible, resulting in one of the best lightweight vacuums that provides swift cleans with minimal fatigue when cleaning the whole house.
Design expertise in your inbox – from inspiring decorating ideas and beautiful celebrity homes to practical gardening advice and shopping round-ups.
Honestly, I couldn't recommend the V11 more. The only off-putting aspect usually is the retail price, so now is the time to buy if you want to truly transform your home cleaning.
The Dyson V11 is available for $449.99 at Dyson.

The trade-off when comparing the V11 and the V12 Detect Slim is: The V11 has higher suction, the V12 has more advanced features. This includes a green laser that reveals dust you can't see, and a sensor that optimizes suction as you clean.

The V15 Detect is the best, with higher suction than the V11 and the same smart features as the V12 Detect Slim. It may cost a lot, but I use it at home myself and it's absolutely worth it if you want spotless floors with minimal effort.

The Shark is usually a (slightly) cheaper alternative to Dyson's bests, but now that the V11 is on offer, it's the same price as the Cordless PowerDetect. It may not be as powerful as the V11, but it's more agile thanks to a flexible wand.

For the same price as the V11, you could bring one of the most powerful vacuums money can buy. Its suction power is relentless, picking up every strand of hair and every speck of dust in one pass. It's bigger and bulkier than a cordless vacuum, but definitely the right choice for busy homes with lots of mess.
If money's tight, this Ultenic cordless vacuum is my go-to budget recommendation. It won't work wonders on carpets, but homes with hard floors could benefit from a lightweight, affordable vacuum that shares the same green laser as a Dyson that costs three times as much. It's a great one for dorms, too.

The Black+Decker steam mop can clean everything from floors to soft furnishings to clothing. It's $100s cheaper than Dysons and can cut your chore time in half.
