The Los Angeles home of Kylie Jenner is a modern and eclectic space that channels the internet personality's iconic sense of glamor.
Designed by celebrated interior designer Martyn Lawrence Bullard, the home makes a bold statement that celebrates playful interior design, most notably in the Barbie pink glam room.
Taking a slightly more pared-back approach, however, is the living room shown below.

A light and airy room with a soft feel, the living room channels a modern approach to design that experiments with contrasting textures.
The rounded furniture, which embodies a key furniture trend for 2023, helps establish a cozy and inviting feel, while its collective color palette of off-white and pale pink living room ideas establishes a feminine look. Different textures feature across the furniture, such as velvet, which further enhances its relaxing look while bringing a sense of luxury.
Making a contrast against the room's softness is the statement black marble fireplace. A minimalist design with sharp rectangular edges, the fireplace adds a point of interest to the space and offsets the otherwise delicate room with its heavy frame and rich veining detailing.
'Marble has been synonymous with luxury and opulence for centuries. It has an enduring appeal that can elevate any space's aesthetic,' explains NYC-based interior designer Artem Kropovinsky.
Based in New York, Artem Kropovinsky, founder of Arsight, has a decade of global design experience. Prioritizing minimalism, sustainability, and authenticity, Artem, alongside his team of professionals, works on projects in the US and worldwide.
If decorating with marble is a material you're looking to incorporate into your own home, it's important to consider other styling elements to ensure it doesn't overpower the space, as shown by the contrasting and layered effect in Jenner's living room.
Kropovinsky goes on to suggest: 'While marble is the star, ensure other elements, such as wooden cabinetry or warm-colored accents are present to prevent the space from feeling too cold or sterile.'
'Use brass or other metallics not just for fixtures but also as trims or inlays in the marble for a richer appeal. Introduce fabrics, like bouclé or even velvets, in nearby furnishings to create tactile variety,' Kropovinsky concludes.
