If there’s a better combination than colour, cake and Champagne then we’re yet to hear about it. So we were very excited to learn that the Royal Crescent Hotel & Spa in Bath is partnering with Farrow & Ball to throw its first home décor workshop.
The masterclass will introduce Farrow & Ball’s new Colour by Nature collection of 16 shades, created in collaboration with The Natural History Museum.

The palette of 16 colours is a further extension of the 132-strong line up of shades that features on Farrow & Ball’s core colour card. Tones range from powerful oranges and jewel-like reds to deep blues, verdant greens and several sophisticated neutrals (including three whites).
The event will take place on Thursday 14 November at 12pm in the hotel’s Sir Percy Suite – think five-star splendour and opulent Georgian elegance – and will see Farrow & Ball Colour Curator Joa Studholme share her top tips for bringing your home to life with colour and pattern while answering any decorating dilemmas.
The Royal Crescent Hotel & Spa is a five-star haven of elegance and tranquillity in the historic centre of Bath. An iconic sanctuary in the city, it’s nestled in an acre of glorious gardens.
As if chatting through new Farrow & Ball colours isn’t exciting enough, following the talk you’ll be taken across the secluded gardens to the hotel’s award-winning Dower House Restaurant, where you’ll enjoy a Taittinger Champagne Afternoon tea.
The indulgent treat includes freshly-baked scones and Bath Buns, delicious finger sandwiches cut to mouthwatering perfection and glasses of Taittinger, for a truly sparkling day.
Then, upon departure, guests will each receive a Farrow & Ball goody bag. Sounds like the perfect way to spend an afternoon to us.
Tickets for the event cost £55. For more information and to book click here.
