Lulu & Georgia’s collaboration with designer Sarah Sherman Samuel nails the effortless yet elevated Cali-causal style
Interior designer Sarah Sherman Samuels has a new collection out with Lulu & Georgia that mixes luxury materials with a California cool aesthetic. Here are all the pieces I’m loving from the collab
Lulu & Georgia is one of my absolute favorite brands for fashion-forward styles that always stay on top of the latest interior design trends, and their latest collaboration with interior designer Sarah Sherman Samuel is no exception.
Consisting of everything from rugs and throws to furniture pieces, this collaboration takes Sarah’s signature dreamy California style and adds some refined elements in order to make it more elegant, such as metal accents, velvets, and ceramics.

‘I’m a firm believer that good design takes time, and that homes that have the best interiors are collected over time and tell their inhabitants’ stories,’ says Sarah of this new collaboration. ‘This collection is meant to already look collected as I have designed it over the years when ideas and inspiration hits never in just one period of time. It’s a collection of my designs, always with the end goal of creating something unique and new, but with a simultaneous nod to the historic.’
This collection is therefore ideal for those who love the classics, but want to add just a touch of contemporary to their design scheme in order to keep up with interior design trends. Each piece is designed to look lived-in, but with a nod to the traditional, so it’s refined and relaxed at the same time. I looked through every product to find my absolute favorite ways to bring Sarah’s signature style into your home.
Simple, soft lines are wrapped in velvet for a plush silhouette on this stool, and the connected, shapely legs bring a unique spin to the look.
With its dramatic lines and fluted fabric shade, this airy floor lamp epitomizes casual living punctuated by a touch of modern design.
The wavy, irregular lines on this mirror add a contemporary feel, while the gold rim provides an elegant touch.
Featuring a hand-drawn, irregular checkerboard pattern, this rug adds interest despite its muted color palette and plays with a tasseled fringe edge.
Flowing lines fade into this vase, lending a beautifully organic touch to a regular ceramic piece. If you want a decorative piece that errs on sculptural, this is it.
This faux mohair throw brings a sense of warmth to any living space, and I love the luxe texture and soft tassels. It’s available in three separate colors in order to blend into your home.
Bouclé pillows aren’t going out of style any time soon, so you might as well embrace the look: This sphere pillow uses a textured blue material to add instant style to any sofa or bed.
Fun fact: The tigers on this throw pillow have been drawn by Sarah’s son, and then styled in an intricate motif on a pale yellow background for a graphic edge.
If you’re looking for a relaxed collection that still has an elegant edge, this collaboration between Sarah Sherman Samuel and Lulu & Georgia is a perfect mix. It’s a California casual look that still maintains a refined, luxe feel, making your home feel cozy and elegant at the same time.
