Living with pets is a blessing, but the never-ending pet hair cleanup? Not so much. I've spoken to dozens of professional cleaners, consumers, and vacuum engineers who say that fur is undoubtedly the most challenging part of keeping our floors clean.
But it's more than difficult, it's time-consuming, which is why we were so elated to find out that the eufy Omni S1 Pro, currently discounted by a whoppingly rare $800, can pull it from thick carpets without us lifting a finger, while never wrapping with hair.
It's why we've crowned it as the best robot vacuum for pet owners, and why, after seeing it on offer for under half the price, I have to shout it out to the frustrated pet owners out there.
eufy Omni S1 Pro | was $1,499.99, now $699.99 at eufy (save $800)
Undoubtedly the strongest robot vacuum we've tested on pet hair, the eufy Omni S1 Pro pulls an amazing amount of fur out of carpets, never wraps with hair, and has strong vacuuming and mopping power for all other household cleanups, freeing up hours every week.

The eufy Omni S1 Pro Is Every Shedding Pet Owner's Savior
Matching the cleaning power of a full-sized Miele canister vacuum, the eufy Omni S1 Pro has transformed how easy it is to live with shedding pets for our tester and Head of Solved, Punteha van Terheyden.
'It leaves nothing on hard floors when it comes to pet hair and dust and picks up much more than any canister vacuum I've owned when tested on carpet,' she mentioned in the eufy Omni S1 Pro review, emphasizing just how revolutionary it is for a small, hands-off device to clean this thoroughly.
'It's just as strong, nothing has changed. I've gone through several rounds of maintenance with it as well and it's so easy,' she told me, after using it for over a year.
A big reason why this robot vacuum is so easy to maintain is that it never, ever wraps with hair. It has been 15 months since the initial testing and it's been used every day since, in a household with two shedding cats and two people who shed long hair.
'Every cordless and canister vacuum I have owned has come with the annoying task of having to take out the brushroll, and cut a revolting amount of hair out into my trashcan. With the eufy robot vacuum, this task has disappeared from my life,' she told me after more than a year of enjoying such a time-saving win.
And this time-saving goes beyond cutting out tangled hair. Over the past year, it has drastically reduced how much her and her family have to get their regular best vacuum out – by an incredible 90%.
For a transformative device that frees up hours of chore time to be discounted by $800 is huge, not to mention that it has only been reduced by this much during the major sale seasons.
'In normal, every day spills, the eufy Omni S1 Pro did brilliantly, never leaving any debris behind,' Punteha wrote in her review. This will be a relief to hear if you find yourself vacuuming pet kibble, spilled crumbs, and tracked-in mud a little too often.
And what's more, its mopping abilities are exceptional, using a specialized cleaning solution (that's safe for pets), that actually washes floors daily, leaving them smelling fresh, non-sticky, and dry within a few moments.
The eufy app is pretty straightforward, too. It doesn't take long to make it a familiar part of your smart home setup, where you can quickly set schedules, like running at night when everyone's asleep, as well as no-go zones, if there are rooms with toys or cables that you don't want the robot to get confused in.
The eufy Omni S1 Pro is discounted by $800 for a limited time.
Punteha uses a carpet rake like this $8.09 pick to clean the last bits of fur from carpets and sofas that a vacuum can't handle. She also used it to find out that the eufy Omni S1 Pro was pulling up more fur than her canister vacuum.
It's hard to beat this fast and consistently effective lint roller. Run one over your sofa, and any strand will instantly stick to it.
It won't clean as quickly as a vacuum cleaner, but for $100s less, this reusable and highly-rated roller can trap fur from different surfaces without using any electricity.
The Shark POWERDETECT Upright is the best pet hair vacuum we've tested, with relentlessly strong suction that, during testing, cleaned all visible strands of hair from carpet in one pass.

Unlike the Shark POWERDETECT that relies on a power cord, this Dyson is one of our all-time favorites for cordless convenience, with flawless suction that picks up fur in one or two passes. Plus, it has a green laser that reveals hair and dust you can't see, so you can know when the floor is truly spotless.

One of the most advanced on the market, the Roborock Saros Z70 does what no other robot vacuum does: Tidies up for you. Using a mechanical arm, it picks up objects and places them in set locations around the house, like the laundry basket or waste can.

Next, see which vacuums we have crowned as the best vacuums for pet hair after rigorous testing in a cat and dog shelter and our own pet-filled homes.
