This Reduced Diptyque Candle is Victoria Beckham's Favorite, and It's Perfect For Getting Guests in the Holiday Mood with Its Berry Notes

The brand's 'Baies' scent boasts a cult following and is on sale for a limited time only

A cozy festive living room with a large cream sofa, coffee table with lit candles, large rug, brown upholstered chair, and a dining table under large bay windows with white sheer curtains. In the centre of the room is a large vase with lit dry twigs, and a tall candlestick. Above the window, festive greenery is hanging, and to the right is a white side-table with fairy lights, a vase of festive sprigs, and an artwork above.

If there's one scent that's synonymous with Diptyque, it's Baies – their floral and fruity fragrance that's suitable for seasonal scenting year-round. Having said that, in my opinion, it particularly comes into its own over the festive period, when berry fragrances reflect the warmth and fun of the holidays.

For that reason, I'll be picking up the Diptyque Baies Scented Candle, currently reduced at Walmart reduced by $22.

I've often thought that if something is good enough for Victoria Beckham, it's certainly something I should be trying, and Baies is actually one of Victoria Beckham's favorite Diptyque candles. It's no surprise, really, Baies, available in a smaller, classic size at Amazon, is one of the brand's signature scents and unrivalled bestsellers. She's also a fan of the Diptyque Feu de Bois Candle, available at Amazon, which nabbed top spot in my list of the best candles.

It's not just Victoria who loves Baies, either. In fact, Diptyque candles boast an impressive celebrity following, with Khloe Kardashian even recently featuring the Baies candle on her Instagram. It's even Shaun White's favorite Diptyque candle, too.

What's more, it's absolutely perfect for making your home smell like Christmas with an unexpected twist, particularly when hosting over the holidays.

As I said, of course, just under $200 is a lot for anyone to spend on any candle. But, with Diptyque, you really do get what you pay for – the cleanest burn I've ever experienced from any brand, owing to the high-quality wax, a scent that effortlessly fills even larger spaces where you may be hosting, among your cozy living room ideas, for example, and a real feel of iconic, timeless elegance. And, at 21 oz, with a burn time of 90 hours, it will last you all season long.

Plus, if, like me, you like to reuse candle jars around your house, this particularly striking black Baies vessel will work well among any bathroom organization ideas, for organizing a bathroom vanity, or for organizing makeup, provided you know what to do with a candle when it's burnt out, and how to get candle wax out of jars.

It will also work to freshen common Christmas odors, particularly if you light it right after eating when hosting friends and family for a festive dinner party, or on Christmas day.

So, if you're searching for an easy way to make a home smell good for Christmas, look no further and snap up this cult classic at a reduced price. It makes an absolutely stunning gift, too, if you're looking for something a little more luxe for that special someone. I know I'd certainly love to find it under the tree come Christmas day.
