Lil Wayne has listed his home on the shores of Allison Island for $29 million. The sleek property epitomizes modern Miami architecture through its mahogany paneling, 22-foot ceilings, and 110-foot water frontage.
Beyond its architectural assets, the home's postcode is equally as enviable – situated on Allison Island within the city of Miami Beach. With its oceanfront location and luxurious interiors combined, this property is one of the most exciting listings in Miami – and one of the world's best homes.
Lil Wayne is a rapper who is a rapper, songwriter, and record executive who is best known for songs including A Milli, Tha Block Is Hot, and Lollipop. With 120 million record sales worldwide, he is often referred to as one of the most influential hip-hop artists of his generation and one of the greatest rappers of all time. Here, we tour his striking home.
The sleek exterior offers a glimpse into the home's modern decorating ideas – mostly seen through the white color scheme that dominates the entire property. This backdrop allows the emeralds-toned artworks and plants to make a statement in the open-plan living space – while creating a contest with the blues of the sky and water (seen through the glass paneling).
This palette is similarly seen through the white kitchen ideas – a space that epitomizes the invisible kitchen trend that uses custom Italian cabinetry to integrate the appliances and hide all utensils from the countertops. This maintains the home's sleek aesthetic and ensures the open-plan space is ready to entertain at all times.
Beyond the kitchen, the home's light living room showcases sliding glass doors that open onto an expansive deck (where there is further room to dine al-fresco). The adjacent great room also exhibits floor-to-ceiling windows and opens onto the backyard that overlooks the Atlantic.
Other notable garden ideas include the pool and an outdoor kitchen with a built-in barbecue grill. This leads to a beach cabana with direct access to the white sands of the island’s private beach.
The oceanic views are similarly seen from most of the home's seven bedrooms, along with the main suite, which offers dual baths, a walk-in closet, a sitting area, and a private terrace. The second junior suite also includes its own terrace that overlooks the ocean.
Other luxury amenities include a movie theater, a wine room, an elevator, and a private dock that sits just beyond the home's four walls.
