Joanna Gaines' new rug collaboration is an instant way to create her iconic farmhouse style
The new Magnolia Homes by Joanna Gaines rug collection at Loloi makes use of gorgeous prints and timeless trends to bring an element of spring into your home
Joanna Gaines has been a pioneer of modern farmhouse style for decades now, and her various collaborations have exemplified her love for the design trend. Most recently, the former HGTV star has launched a much easier way to bring some of her signature style to the home–through the launch of her new rug collection, in partnership with Loloi.
Called the ‘Magnolia Homes by Joanna Gaines’ collection, this collaboration consists of numerous varieties of rugs in different colors and patterns, in order to help you find the option that works best for you. There are more modern colors and styles, simple, natural beige rugs, floral and Oriental patterns, and so much more, all designed to help you bring a touch of nature into your home.
‘For any design project, I draw my inspiration from nature. I love the simple and elegant way colors and light blend together,’ Joanna tells Homes & Gardens. ‘These hues that nature unveils often end up being the perfect palette for whatever it is I’m working on. For this collection specifically, the way light and shadows play together in early spring is what inspired the raised textures and tonal colors in the rugs.’
If you’re considering adding a new rug to your collection in order to bring in some much-needed spring vibes, this collection is my most recommended way to do so. From the denim-inspired Kennedy collection that plays with shadows to the plaid decor options in the Caleb collection, each option keeps up with the interior design trends, but puts Joanna’s signature spin on them in a way that makes sure they stand the test of time.
‘I keep finding myself drawn to The Gigi collection. The subtly feminine patterns paired with two-tone colors are what makes this assortment stand out while maintaining a timeless look that is so important when investing in a new rug,’ adds Joanna.
While I was looking through the collection myself, I was excited to find options that would suit any home, whether that’s a more modern look or a handcrafted, traditional design. You can purchase the rugs in 13 different sizes depending on the restrictions of your own living space, and the attention to detail in each is unparalleled. While each look is different, I gathered a few of my favorite options for you to explore, in order to give your home an easy upgrade this spring.

Made in Turkey with a denim and beige construction, this rug has a modern color palette that lets the shadows in the hues shine through, lending a sunny feel.
Using a large plaid design for a more relaxed vibe, this rug also adds a braid-inspired, criss-cross motif that lends itself to more contemporary homes.
One of Joanna’s favorites, this Oriental-style rug plays with a two-toned texture that boasts intricate designs and a solid border for a traditional look.
Geometric prints and diamond shapes give this rug a playful take on pattern, while the simple black and white color scheme prevents the look from being too overwhelming.
Handwoven in India from 100 percent jute, this versatile rug uses the sustainable material to lend a rustic touch to your space.
The new Magnolia Homes by Joanna Gaines rug collection at Loloi is a gorgeous celebration of spring, and each option is unique in its construction. If you want to keep up with interior design trends while still purchasing an option that you know will stand the test of time, these rugs are an affordable, stylish way to do just that.
