The striking brass trim used across the kitchen cabinets and hardware works wonderfully to create that glamorous Art Deco feel, with the contrasting gray color scheme helping to offer a note of calming contrast; helping to make the overall kitchen ideas feel fresh and contemporary.

'When many of us picture Art Deco spaces, we are drawn to big, bold maximalist designs that showcase sleek geometric patterns, tactile tassels and fringes, glass and velvet. However, for this year's interior design trends, we are seeing many designers incorporate elements of Art Deco in a more subtle and sophisticated way.'
She continues, 'As shown in Zoe Saldana's kitchen, the striking brass detailing helps to add that glamorous, Art Deco edge to the space, with the simple gray color palette and beautiful marble finish adding a more relaxing and minimalist note to the space. This modern kitchen exudes a sense of calm and tranquillity, yet still feels wonderfully warm, luxurious, and, of course, functional.'
