I'm going to be making this viral 3-ingredient whipped lemonade all summer long – it's simply irresistible
The refreshing treat is just what I need in the heat, and couldn't be easier to make

I've just discovered whipped lemonade – a cooling, creamy, and refreshing summer treat – and I can't get enough of it.
It's a cross between a milkshake, a frozen slushy, and fresh lemonade, which might sound a bit odd, but think of it as a twist on a pina colada, with lemon instead of pineapple and no alcohol. You can always add a slug of vodka or white rum if you like.
And, while it looks gorgeous, we recommend serving it in a mason jar with a colorful straw and topping it with a generous squirt of whipped cream and a slice of lemon. It's also incredibly simple to make, using just 3 ingredients and one of the best blenders.
Here's the video posted by The Kitchn that has got everyone talking.
If you're feeling the heat (or just fancy a sweet treat), this recipe from The Kitchn is exactly what you need to combat those cool cravings. You're likely to have everything you need for it already, as they're common store cupboard ingredients, so you could whip it up straight away. Plus, it only takes minutes to make.
It's the perfect addition to a poolside brunch menu. Just add a sun lounger and a cocktail umbrella for holiday vibes. Here's how to make it.
Ingredients (serves 1)
- Juice from 2 medium lemons (around ¼ cup)
- 1 ½ cup ice cubes
- ¼ cup heavy cream
- ¼ cup sweetened condensed milk
- Whipped cream
- Lemon slice
How to make whipped lemonade
Put the ice cubes, heavy cream, lemon juice, and sweet condensed milk in a blender (ensure you choose a blender that's up to the job of crushing ice), and blend until smooth on high speed. This should take about 1 minute. Pour into a glass and garnish with whipped cream and a lemon slice if desired.

If you enjoy lemonade recipes, try our lemongrass lemonade, which is a more traditional take on the classic recipe, omitting cream but using lemongrass for a grown-up touch of spiciness.
