The news is full of articles covering Prime Big Deals Days, but it's far from the only sale right now. In fact Best Buy are just one of several retailers running counter-sales to try and undercut Amazon.
However, with so much on sale, it can be hard to know which deals are genuine value and which aren't worth your time. As a product tester and shopping writer, I've combed through thousands of deals on both sites to work out which retailer is best.
There's a pretty easy golden rule with these sales. If you're shopping for large appliances like dishwashers and fridges, the Best Buy sales are much better. For small appliances, Amazon Prime Day deals are better.
What's more, if you're a Prime member, I'd head straight to Amazon. If you're not yet a Prime member, I'd stick to Best Buy. The deals on Amazon are great, but if you have to add on the $14.99 monthly Prime fee, you might not be saving any money in the long run.
What are Amazon Prime Big Deal Days?
Prime Big Deals Days have landed, bringing big discounts on a wide range of products. Our product testers have found some Amazon Prime Day deals that can save you hundreds of dollars. However, these offers are only for Amazon Prime members, and we've also seen some counter-sales from other big retailers. If you want to head straight to the deals, here's what's on offer:

Amazon has a broader range of deals, and they tend to be little cheaper than Best Buy. For example, our pick for the second-best stand mixer, the Cuisinart Precision is $179 on Amazon and $192.99 on Best Buy. The our favorite ever vacuum cleaner, the Dyson V15 is $598 at Amazon and $629.99 on Best Buy. The Nutribullet Smart Touch, our pick for the best budget blender, is $107.99 at Best Buy, but $83.99 at Amazon. There are dozens of other examples of this.
What's more, Amazon has much better bedding deals. There's a few mattress protectors, pillows, and mattress toppers on Best Buy, but there are hundreds of bedsheet discounts at Amazon that could save you a lot of money.

Amazon tends to sell mini countertop appliances, like this Chumaste Countertop Dishwasher or this Frigidaire Mini Fridge. If you need a full-sized fridge, dishwasher, or dryer, Best Buy is your best option by far.

Is anywhere else offering deals?
Your next best bet is Walmart, and I recommend checking out Walmart's Shark Days. This event offers huge discounts on Shark vacuums, which are one of our favorite vacuum brands. It's a generalisation but they tend to be almost as good as Dyson but cost hundreds less. Shark prices at Walmart are better than both Amazon and Best Buy but the rest of the offers aren't as good as either site.
