KitchenAids get a lot of attention, but if they're a bit over budget, you're in for a treat. The Cuisinart stand mixer is our experts' worst kept secret. It's a serious rival to KitchenAid's Artisan model (we actually think its better at kneading breads) and it's a fraction of the price.
