Prime Big Deal Days are here and will last until October 11th. I' caught some pretty big discounts on big (and expensive) brands like KitchenAid, Dyson, and Vitamix and the deals are only getting better.
I'm the editor of all of the reviews content here on H&G, and I've been through all of our old reviews and hundreds of deals on Amazon to find the best deals on small appliances.
The last Prime event saw some unbelievable discounts, including an enormous $1000 saving among the biggest I've ever seen in my years covering sales events.
Prime Day sales aren't as hectic as Black Friday deals and you can't shop around for other discounts. However, if you can't wait to get your hands on an appliance, this a great opportunity to save a little money.
My favorites - for now
I've found a lot more than just these, but these are my absolute favorite deals. If you need an appliance ASAP, these are my picks for saving a little money.
Best air fryer deals
Air fryers are simple appliances, so it can seem a little strange that they can cost so much. My advice is to shop for these in sales periods if you can, because they're often more than half off.
Best stand mixer deals
Stand mixers are another bizarrely expensive appliance. While there's no markdown on the KitchenAid Artisan yet (though you can grab a refurbished KitchenAid Artisan at Amazon for $100 less than a brand-new Artisan at KitchenAid), lots of other KitchenAid products are discounted. Better than that, there's a great discount on the Cuisnart Precision, which I think you should always pick over the Artisan if money is tight.
Best vacuum deals
The Hoover deal below is a return of one of my favorite deals from the last Prime Day, a huge saving on a good-enough vacuum. There's already a couple hundred off some top-line Dysons, too. They're still expensive, but any $150 discount is worth having.
Best blender deals
I predict that there will be plenty more blender deals coming in the next couple weeks, but for now there are rare discounts on Vitamix blenders. We loved them on test, but with their usual price tag they're too expensive for many of us. These deals make them a little more affordable.
Best juicer deals
Juicers are a really luxurious appliance. Even with cheap models, there's nothing like making your own fresh juice in your own kitchen. There very best deals are yet to drop, but these are well worth considering.

You should buy essentials on Amazon Prime Big Deal Days and wait until Black Friday for nice-to-haves. A vacuum is pretty essential, as your floors will quickly look dirty, so I recommend buying one of those on Prime Day. A juicer, for example, can wait until Black Friday; you can get by without one and there will be more choice and better discounts on Black Friday.
