Ken is hosting a sleepover at Barbie’s Malibu DreamHouse – apply to stay for free via Airbnb
Could Kencore take over from Barbiecore?
'Welcome to my Kendom!' says Ken on the Airbnb listing for Barbie's Malibu DreamHouse. 'While Barbie is away, she has handed over the keys [...] and my room could be yours for the night. I’ve added a few touches to bring some much-needed Kenergy to the newly renovated and iconic Malibu DreamHouse. Placed perfectly above the beach with panoramic views, this life-size toy pink mansion is a dream come true!'
With the Barbie movie soon to hit theaters, it's safe to say Barbiecore is sweeping the worlds of interiors, fashion and popular culture. So, imagine getting the chance to stay in Barbie's Malibu Dreamhouse, redecorated Ken-style?
Well, booking on Airbnb opens at 10am PT on Monday July 17th for two, one-night stays for up to two guests on July 21st and 22nd. For free. And if you miss out, you can take the tour with Barbie (aka Margot Robbie), below.

Or see what exciting new features the property (yes, it's a real house) has to offer since it's been updated for Ken, below.
Ahead of the official opening of the Dreamhouse, one lucky TikToker got to have a full tour of the Ken-style Mansion (below), and it's surreal beyond our wildest, pinkest dreams!

Perched on a stunning stretch of coastline, 'the Malibu DreamHouse is a sunny surfer’s sanctuary surrounded by beach, beach and more beach – just the way I like it,' continues Ken. 'I’ve decked out the place with a little more… well, me! I’m more than just beach!'
The DreamHouse experience features the opportunity to stay in Ken's cowboy-themed bedroom.

You can take a look in Ken's closet (below), which includes a few pieces Barbie has left behind, and get dressed to the nines for any social posting opportunities... or just live out your Barbie fantasies.
'Taking a spin through my awesome wardrobe to find your best beach fit. Look out Barbie, I’ve got quite the closet too!' says Ken.
The house's design echoes the sense of humor of Greta Gerwig, the director and writer of the upcoming Barbie. The typical, somewhat-silly plastic nuances (including in-bedroom horse) are entirely captivating, and the house is full of these little details that should make a stay in this property endlessly entertaining.
'My cowboy stuff is great. And horses! Guitars, games and more. And of course, rollerblades, because I literally go nowhere without them,' says Ken.
Guests can live it up Ken-style for a neon night, living in technicolor by channeling your inner cowboy and learning a line dance or two on Ken's outdoor disco dance floor (below) or performing a sunset serenade on his guitar.
The balcony area is equipped with a pink cushioned sectional and lounger with a faux fireplace (since there are no elements in Barbie Land).
Of course, Ken's gym (below) is a must-visit, then, once you've worked up an appetite, it's time for a grill-out.
For all those eager to get into the Western theme, there is a grill and bar for a sunset dinner. There's even a fun pink lamp post to light up the patio when the sun sets.
In a sea of pink, the blue sandbox and outdoor sofa playfully capture the beautiful natural landscape that the DreamHouse overlooks, with the surrounding ocean view adding to the stunning nature of this property.
'Challenge your fellow guests to a “beach off” with plenty of sunbathing and chillaxing by the infinity pool... and takie home a piece of my Kendom with your very own set of yellow-and-pink Impala skates and surfboard,' says Ken.
Yes, if you are successful in applying for a stay at the DreamHouse (Airbnb are at pains to underline that this is not a competition), you will get to stay in the Barbie DreamHouse for free, and take home a set of yellow and pink Impala skates and a surfboard. Booking requests for Ken’s room in Barbie’s Malibu DreamHouse open on July the 17th at 10am PT at airbnb.com/kendreamhouse.
