This is the world's best stand mixer, according to expert tester Millie Fender. 'This iconic, American-made stand mixer is a statement piece in any kitchen, but don't let looks deceive you – it's a real workhorse. With 10 speed settings, the KitchenAid Artisan can go slow to knead dough and speed up to whip cream with perfect results. it was slow enough for kneading dough and speedily making whipped cream with perfect results. I found that the 5-quart capacity is a little lacking if you're catering for a crowd, but it's great for families.'

'The Moccamaster KBGV Select brings together the very best in aesthetics and performance for a coffee experience that is truly unparalleled,' says our resident barista, Laura Honey. 'This is one of a handful of machines that meets the Speciality Coffee Association's Golden Cup standard for coffee. It also brews incredibly delicate flavors; you don't need a barista qualification to work it.'

'If you're hosting this holiday season, then a food processor could help you cut down on prep time,' says Lydia. 'You can chop veg, grate cheese, and whip up quick sauces and salsas in the KitchenAid Food Processor. The snap-and-go lid means it couldn't be easier to assemble, use, and clean. This is the sort of impulse purchase that could make cooking so much easier for busy families.'
'Most pizza ovens I test need a lot of setup,' says outdoor expert Alex David. 'Not so with the Cuisinart Indoor Pizza Oven. This is the rare pizza oven for under $500, and it's electric, so it plugs straight into an outlet. The Indoor Pizza Oven is not quite as quick or as powerful as the real thing, but it comes with a lot of extras, including a pizza peel, pizza cutter, and a deep dish pan. It's a good option for buyers on a budget and anyone who doesn't have an outdoor space.'

This is David Beckham's favorite grill, and if it's good enough for David, it's good enough for us. Expert tester Alex Temblador puts it up there with the best grills: 'The char created by the grill fate was incredible. There was a delicious smoky flavor to the fish and vegetables that wasn't overwhelming. It cooked incredibly fast: in fact, you might want to take out your food a minute or two earlier than you expect.'

'Ninja’s Double Stack Air Fryer is remarkably sleek and slender, but it can feed a crowd,' says Kitchen Editor Lydia Hayman. 'That's because each basket contains two cooking levels, allowing you to cook up to four different ingredients simultaneously. With minimal involvement and no preheating required, dinner was ready in 20 minutes. Truly a game-changer for busy families, tired individuals, and anyone with a limited kitchen.'

'This cordless Dyson is so good that it's the only one I use in my own home,' says Home Tech Editor Dan Fauzi. 'It's perfect for my messy shared house with its mix of carpeted and hard floors. When testing the V12 Detect Slim alongside vacuums from Shark, Tineco, Proscenic and Numatic, the Dyson was the one I relied on to clear the messes that the others couldn't handle. My only real gripe with the V12 Detect Slim is its price, but it's available with a pretty decent discount for Black Friday.'

These are some of the best-loved bed sheets on Amazon, with more than 240,000 verified five-star reviews. I think they're the best affordable bed sheets for buyers on a budget. While microfiber won't feel quite as luxurious as, say, cotton sateen, it will keep you warm and resist wrinkling for low-maintenance bed-making. The Mellanni Queen Sheet Set comes in no fewer than 35 shades to complement any color palette. I'd opt for classic white but you could go for emerald green or royal blue or experiment with prints and patterns.
One of our freelance product testers, Casey Clark, suffers from fibromyalgia. She thinks this is the world's best mattress for back pain. 'Between my chronic pain and my insomnia, I often struggle to sleep,' explains Casey. 'I think the Nectar Memory Foam Mattress hits the sweet spot. When I lay on my back, I feel like my body is in perfect alignment. For this price, I'll forgive a little bit of heat retention.'

Dan ranks this affordable option from LEVOIT among the best air purifiers: 'It may not have the power or the smart features of more expensive machines, but it's a highly effective cleaner for small apartments and single rooms. t's light enough to sit on your tabletop, which makes it easy to lift and move from room to room for whole-house cleaning. You can even enjoy (mostly) hands-free operation when you set a two-to-eight-hour timer.'
Our garden appliance expert, Alex David, thinks this is one of the best leaf blowers in the business. 'It's surprisingly powerful for a cordless leaf blower, so it's worth considering if you live in California, DC, or another part of America that might bring in small engine bans, he says. 'It's also much quieter than a gas leaf blower,' so you don't need to worry about being anti-social.
'As a product tester, I've tried dozens of pairs of pruners over the course of my career,' says Alex. 'The Felco F2 pruners are universally acknowledged as the best pruners you can buy. They're robust, sharp, and comfortable, and every part can be replaced. I recommend these pruners for budding gardeners and seasoned pros alike.'
