Sophie Warren-Smith
Sophie has been an interior stylist and journalist for over 20 years and has worked for many of the main interior magazines during that time, both in-house and as a freelancer. She graduated from Chelsea School of Art where she studied surface pattern and print, and after a tutor there suggested she considered styling as a career Sophie, after assisting several interior stylists, applied for a job covering a maternity leave at Woman & Home magazine and became their Acting Lifestyle Assistant which she loved. A couple of years later, she was back covering for the Home Stylist’s maternity leave and from there went on to work both freelance and in-house at BBC Good Homes as Features Writer and styling and writing interior pages for Sunday Express’s She magazine, Ikea, Period Living, House Beautiful, Real Homes and Ideal Home. Three years ago Sophie trained to be a florist and The Prettiest Posy was launched where she curates beautiful flowers for modern weddings and events. In the last two years, Sophie has become a regular contributing editor at H&G writing features that include color, pattern and texture and how to make them work in your home effortlessly.
After 10 years in London, Sophie now lives in West Yorkshire with her husband, son and beagle, Pip.
