Kendall Jenner's sophisticated glassware storage elevates her luxurious home bar, experts say
The model and socialite's open-concept shelves bring a unique openness and style to her home bar
Good glassware can make a significant impact in a home bar. When designing a bar space, you may be thinking about colors, the storage of spirits, and materials, but glassware feels like an afterthought. Kendall Jenner's home bar turns this setup on its head by boldly featuring her glasses, coupes, and flutes for an ultra-sophisticated, shimmery effect. The supermodel's bar features open-concept black shelves backed with black and white marble to match the bar's surface. Kendall's glassware against the marble brings a unique glow and luxurious ambiance to her space.

Kendall's home bar design celebrates the beautiful simplicity of her glassware. Jennifer Ebert, digital editor at Homes & Gardens says, 'Open shelving is a great option for a home bar. In Kendall's space, the marble backsplash and black shelves look sleek and luxurious. Having every type of glassware out on these shelves only enhances the sophisticated feel of the space, giving it an elevated, old-world charm.'

On the topic of featuring cocktail glasses, John Cutts, glass expert and founder of MeandMyGlass adds: 'At-home bars look great when there are some bar utensils on display. Having things like glasses, drinks, and cocktail sets on display can add to the atmosphere of the area.' Kendall's glasses remind us that this is a space for socializing, relaxing, and entertaining.
John Cutts is a glass expert and Founder of Me and My Glass, a bespoke glass business he created in 2022 after years of working as a glass specialist. His business offers customizable glass for both homes and businesses including mirrors, glass doors, and splashbacks.
Experts further agree that the built-in shelving Kendall has chosen is a great option for a small home bar. John says, 'If you don’t have the space for a cabinet or table then build a bar using wall-mounted shelves. This can be much more affordable than designing a full bar.' We see this in Kendall's bar, where the built-in shelves take the storage vertically for a stylish space-saving hack.
