The brand-new Burleigh range, called Dark Blue Felicity, is a reinterpretation of a trademark blue and white pattern in a more dramatic tone and a fresh take on pattern placement.

The pieces reflect the new nostalgia trend that's becoming more prevalent in interiors, taking iconic ideas and reinventing them for today. Indeed, it's particularly timely as the Pantone Colour of the Year 2020 has been announced as Classic Blue

'Burleigh’s Felicity pattern has a detail to it that has been hidden for years' says Alison Howell, Design Development Manager at Burleigh. 'At the very edge of the original engraved pattern roller, the Felicity design falls away gradually, like autumn leaves. The Dark Blue Felicity Accent range brings this hidden detail to the fore, with a reworking of the original pattern to highlight this secret.'

A homage to leaves falling away in autumn, Dark Blue Felicity Accent acts as a perfect frame to show off bountiful winter dishes. Add some charming florals to your breakfast table, a pop of colour to your lunch time spread and some delicate glamour to your dinner parties. The accent covering means the white centre of the flatware acts as a canvas on which to present your most beautiful dishes.

The Dark Blue Felicity range, which includes plates, a teapot, bowls, jugs and mugs, and teacups and saucers, experiments with partial, or accent, covering using one of the most iconic Burleigh patterns.

It's a contemporary update on traditional blue and white ceramic ware, perfect for dining at home and entertaining for any occasion. The colour and style encourages mixing and matching with established Burleigh ranges.
