Finally, I’ve let myself dive into the cookware deals – because I’m a bit obsessed and could easily spend hours browsing pots and pans to add to my own kitchen. If you’re hunting for a new fry pan ahead of the busy hosting season, here are a few top picks:
For something more classic, try the Caraway Stainless Steel Sauté Pan, now under $200. I tested it last week, and it’s ideal for crowd-pleasing meat dishes. You can brown the meat, deglaze the fond into a sauce, then pop on the lid and place the whole thing in the oven to finish.
If you’re looking for a small non-stick fry pan for sizzling eggs, omelets, or even a solo pancake (just me?), this is hands-down the best 100% ceramic-coated pan I’ve tried. Trust me, ignore the prettier pastel-toned brands – the Made In non-stick fry pan has a stainless steel base, which is far sturdier, robust, and easier to control.
- A small ceramic non-stick pan for breakfast eggs or fish dishes. Look for reliably strong PFAS-free options (like the Made In CeramiClad Pan). It is worth investing in one that lasts at least a few years of use.
- A larger stainless steel skillet or the best cast iron skillet for sautéing, searing meats, and building sauces. Look for spacious 10-inch pans or steel sauté pans with lids for more versatility.
