Coffee maker deals are my proof that quality coffee doesn't have to come with a premium price tag. There are plenty of coffee machines which I've tested and loved, but I wouldn't touch at full price. So, if I can spot a sale, you bet I'm going all-in and scrolling through every coffee maker on offer.

With Wayfair and Memorial Day quickly approaching, I'm all about finding the biggest deals on the best drip coffee makers around. Along the way, I've seen some astounding discounts on our experts' favorite bean-to-cup machines, some of the best single-serve coffee makers, and luxury espresso machines which, now that they're reduced, are reasonably priced.

As a former barista, I've tested the very best coffee makers on the market, as well as the worst. This means that I can spot when a saving is worth snapping up and when it might look like it's offering you more than it really is. We've got a month of deep discounts and sensational savings coming up, so I've curated this comprehensive list of the best coffee maker deals on offer, right now.

The beauty of bean-to-cup machines, also known as automatic coffee makers, is that they make everything simple. All you need to do is add milk, water, and beans, and you'll have perfect coffee every time. However, the market average for these sits at around $1000, so it's always worth looking for a discount.

If you've got some time and you want to scroll the coffee maker sales, these are the places to start. A word of caution: not every deal is a good deal, so always cross check the coffee maker you've found with some expert reviews.

How we test coffee makers

At Homes & Gardens, we take our coffee maker tests seriously. Before we feature them or recommend you buy them, each machine will have been tested by our experts and compared to models from top brands like Breville, Nespresso and Technivorm.

Where possible, we test how a coffee machine fares on making espresso, Americano, and cappuccino. This lets us see the range that a coffee maker has, across milky coffee as well as more intense and flavorful shots. However, if a coffee maker claims to be able to make a vast menu of different coffees, we'll test them all and let you know about them in our 'special features' section. We make sure to use the same coffee beans in each test, so that we can compare how well the flavors and aromas of the coffee has been extracted. If a machine can froth milk, we will test non-dairy milks too, as these can be temperamental.

We'll make notes on everything from aesthetics to cleaning and maintenance, so that you can get a holistic idea of what these machines are like to live with before you invest in them. If you'd like to find out more, you can visit our dedicated page for how we test coffee makers.
