This blender offers a whole world of possibilities. It's a family-sized, powerful, versatile blender, which has attachments for small and large blends, as well as the capability to turn into one of the best food processors we have tried.
This is taken a step further with the Auto-IQ technology built into the Ninja Professional Plus base, which is equipped with smart programs to take the work out of blending. These three programs allow you to make smoothies, frozen drinks, and blends from fruit and vegetables that are still nutrient-rich.
Though there are quite a few components to this system that might clutter up your kitchen cupboards the personal-sized cups are ideal for breakfast when you need to run out of the door. We'd recommend this to almost everyone, except those who are short on space or shopping on a budget.

If you need an all-around blending star for your kitchen, then the Ninja Professional Plus has everything you need. It can turn ice to snow for cocktails to serve up in the 72-ounce pitcher, and is easy for clean-up operations, with dishwasher-safe attachments.
The three Auto-IQ presets on this blender are extremely handy for home use – with smoothies, frozen drinks, and ice cream – creating a perfect mix of healthy options and blends to whip up treats.
With the capacity, presets, and intuitive controls, this ticks all the boxes when it comes to family use. It’s hard to see how this blender wouldn’t become a staple in any home. If you’re looking for included cups that allow you to take smoothies on the go then you might be a little disappointed, with this blender only having the pourable pitcher.

3. Ninja Professional Blender

For those who want a basic Ninja blender that can get the job done, the Ninja Professional Blender offers tremendous value. It has fewer bells and whistles when it comes to accessories and settings, but it can still knead, mix, blend, and crush the ice with finesse.
Reviews generally praise the performance of the Professional across basic tasks. On smoothies, it performs exceptionally. People even commented on how thorough this was when blending tougher spinach and fibrous ginger in smoothies.
If you're looking to make large batches of smoothies or margaritas for casual or even regular use, you'll get on just as well. Compared to the previous option, the Ninja Professional Plus Blender with Auto-IQ, which costs $20 more, it doesn't have the Auto-IQ features and has a lower power rating of 1,000 watts.

4. Ninja Foodi Power Blender Ultimate System

Reasons to avoid
The Ninja Foodi Power Blender Ultimate System is one of the most versatile Ninja blenders. It comes with all the bells and whistles, including various settings for smoothies, extractions, bowls, spreads, chopping, food processing, and dough.
The technology is among the most sophisticated, making it thorough and faultless. The chrome body also looks extremely high-end, and the overall interface design is a lot less cluttered looking than other models.
It's most similar to the Ninja Professional Kitchen System but has additional speed settings, more attachments for advanced food processing, and slightly more power.
We would caution that the blades are very sharp, so when it comes to clearing up, be careful. It also comes with lots of pieces that you'll need to safely store.

5. Ninja Blast Portable

Reasons to avoid
The Ninja Blast is a case study for why size doesn't matter. Svelte and smart, this narrow blender packs a personal blender punch, so much so, it's one of the best personal blenders that our experts have tested.
The super slick and stylish bottle looks like a simple water bottle. In fact, the water bottle I take to the gym is twice the size of it. The Ninja Blast looks so slim on the countertop, it's hardly noticeable. If you wanted to leave it out, you could. However, it would slot into any drawer or cupboard too.
We tested it across a range of recipes and the Ninja Blast excelled at smoothies. There were a few tough skins that it struggled with and this definitely doesn't have the power for ice, but it's a brilliant basic.
Even when blending fruits this didn't get any louder than an electric toothbrush. If you're an early riser who doesn't like noise, that's a dream come true. This is an excellent price too.

6. Ninja Foodi Cold & Hot
Our expert review:

The best blenders can whip up a silky smoothie in seconds. They're powerful, slick and stylish. The Ninja Foodi Cold & Hot goes one better. It can make hot soups, sautés, and jellies, as well as smoothies, desserts, and frozen drinks. If you're looking for a hard-working appliance, look no further.
Our experts put this to the test on butternut squash, ginger, spinach, and ice. These are some of the toughest tests and the Cold & Hot blended them up into smooth bowls of hot and cold delights.
Not only was it effective, this stylish model looks fantastic on the countertop. The generous 64 oz jug can cater to at least four people - with some leftovers too. It's also incredibly intuitive to navigate, so this is tough to fault.
If we are being picky, this is tall, so you won't clear wall-mounted cupboards. It's also tricky to clean, because it doesn't lift off the base. However, if you're looking for a brilliant blender to save you time and hassle without breaking the bank, you'll love this.

Ninja blender alternatives
Ninja blenders are great and certainly at the top of their game; they make some of the best blenders on the market. However, we aren't blinded by Nina. There are plenty of other good blenders out there, some are even better than Ninja blenders for specific functions. Here's a selection of our favorites.
Best overall
With five presets and the ability to make soup as well as smoothies, this is as good as it gets. It has over ten speeds and makes dreamy, creamy results, but it's expensive.
Our full Vitamix A3500 Ascent Series Smart Blender review has more information.
Best bullet
Ready for on the go drinks as well as smoothies for two, we found the NutriBullet easy to use and were impressed with the results. It's easy to clean and store too.
Our full NutriBullet Pro 900 Series Blender review has more details
Best large
This blender is great in its own right, but it also has a huge 68oz capacity that's perfect for big family gatherings.
All the detail is in our Breville Super Q review.
FAQs
Does Ninja make the best blenders?
Ninja certainly makes some of the best blenders on the market. They have an array of different models, so you can pretty much pick and choose between which features you want. Plus, Ninja blenders are fairly advanced when it comes to their designs. Most of them have multiple blades to cut through your ingredients quicker and more thoroughly than other blenders. Then, when you're finished blending, most of the components are dishwasher-safe to make cleaning up as easy as possible.
What is the best of the best Ninja blenders?
Our best Ninja blender is the Ninja Professional Plus Kitchen System with Auto-IQ. Millie, our Reviews Editor was most impressed with the food processor attachment in particular, though she thought the appliance itself was a bit bulky, so keep that in mind. 'It was speedy and chopped evenly using the double-layered blades. The various Auto-IQ settings are excellently timed with differing strengths and intermediate pulsing. This was particularly useful when blending a large smoothie or soup because it meant I could leave the setting to work unassisted while I went about making breakfast.'
Meanwhile, if you're looking for a product that strictly focuses on blending for smoothies, we also admire the Ninja Professional Plus Blender with Auto-IQ, as it is amply sized, includes the smart Auto-IQ technology, and retails at a pretty reasonable price of $119.99.
Which Ninja blender crushes ice?
We believe that any of these Ninja blenders will powerfully crush through the ice, especially since that is one of the basic functions expected of a blender. In particular, models with higher power ratings will be able to crush ice, so we'd look for models with power ratings of at least 1000W to turn ice into a dusting of snow.
The best way to tell that Ninja makes the best blenders is that all of our expert testers have invested in ones for their own personal use. Alex, our Head of eCommerce, uses the personal Ninja Blast; Millie uses the Professional Plus Kitchen System; and I've bought the Cold & Hot blender (as well as the Smoothie Bowl Maker for my brother). If we're willing to spend on these products, after testing the best on the market, that's proof enough that these are excellent. The next task you'll have is finding the best Ninja deals on offer, so you can make a saving too. I've got you covered there too.
